Coaching:

The Society offers mentoring and coaching schemes to all members by tapping into the skills base within the Society. It is an excellent way to get involved with the Reigate Photographic Society and to get to know some of our more experienced photographers.

Anyone wishing to make use of our coaching facility should expect to give us an idea of their skill level, camera type, and the areas where they feel assistance is needed, this will aid us in providing the required help.

We can provide a suitable mentor via Whatsapp

Once you have joined our Whatsapp RPS discussion group, (just get in touch to be added), a mentor will be allocated to you on request.

(see above for details)

Or we can provide a suitable coach for you to meet up in person .

As we say, understanding the camera, photographic theory, practical sessions with the camera, and computer skills in image editing software and printing is within the scope of the scheme.

A further program of practical sessions may then be planned, to allow further development of skills

If interested, then please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. with your needs and a suitable coach will then be identified to help.

Meetings between the two of you will be as frequent as needed.

Sessions are expected to last no more than 2 hours and an optional £5 donation is suggested if you are happy with the result.

(This would be payable to the membership secretary. not the tutor smile
